Yuna is a lovely girl with a special needs condition called FoxG1 syndrome (FS), which affects her brain development. Yuna has a little brother (Joon Lee), dad (Jae W. Lee) and mom (Soo Lee) in Williamsville, New York and two grand parents in Korea. Jae and Soo used to study another related disorder named Kabuki syndrome, and they now focus on the FS in a hope to find therapeutic venues to alleviate or cure various symptoms of the FS and related autism spectrum disorders. Here Soo and Jae would like to share their wonderful journey with Yuna and their research into brain development and the FS.
